A man has been arrested after firing a gun in a housing estate in County Leitrim.
Gardaí responded to an emergency call in Killargue yesterday afternoon.
Following an "intervention" by the Armed Support Unit, which included the use of a taser, a man in his 30s was arrested outside a house, and a gun was seized.
He's been taken to a Garda station in County Leitrim, where he can be held for up to three days.
The scene is currently preserved for technical exam.
