Man accused of Athlone Garda Station attack remanded in custody again

Adil Muhammad, of no fixed abode, appeared before Judge Bernadette Owens at Athlone District Court this morning, with a two-week adjournment requested.

A man charged with causing significant damage to Athlone Garda Station and a number of Garda vehicles last month, has been further remanded in custody.

Adil Muhammad, of no fixed abode, appeared before Judge Bernadette Owens at Athlone District Court this morning, with a two-week adjournment requested.

Judge Owens granted the adjournment, with Mr Muhammad set to reappear on March 11th.

It’s expected a new psychiatric report will be presented to the court in two weeks' time along with an application for bail.
