Man (20s) who died in Westmeath crashed identified as Longford resident

Gardaí are continuing to appeal for information and camera footage of the incident, which occurred between 12:30am and 1:10am on Sunday.

A man in his 20s who died in a single-vehicle collision in Co. Westmeath has been identified as a Longford resident.
21-year-old Kamil Gumiela passed away in the crash along the N4 at Ballinafid, between Mullingar and Rathowen in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Polish native had been residing in the Cam area of Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford, at the time of the incident.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal for information and camera footage of the incident, which occurred between 12:30am and 1:10am on Sunday.
