Uisce Eireann have completed major water upgrade works in Strokestown this week.
The project, which began last year, involved replacing 1.3km of ageing water mains along Bawn Street, Church Street, and the Tulsk Road with modern, durable pipes.
Uisce Eireann say the upgrades have significantly reduced leakage and put an end to frequent bursts that previously disrupted supply.
