Uisce Éireann are working to return water supply to homes and businesses in south Roscommon this morning.
A mechanical issue at the Killeglan Water Treatment Plant has lowered reservoir levels, causing water supply disruptions in several areas of County Roscommon.
Repair crews are working on-site and aim to complete fixes by 8pm.

According to Uisce Éireann’s Ger Greally, once repairs are finished, it will take three to four hours for the network to refill and normal supply to return.
Vulnerable customers registered with Uisce Éireann are being notified directly about the outage.
