There have been calls for regeneration efforts to take place at a Roscommon amenity badly damaged by fire this week.
It follows a series of gorse and forest fires in the Gortaganny area on Sunday and Monday.
Bog area designated as a Special Area of Conservation was scorched in the fires just days after it was added to the list of National Trails.

The Gorthaganny Community Development Group has appealed to Government bodies for help in restoring the area.
