Major funding has been earmarked for a Longford women's support organisation.
Longford Women's Link is to receive over €48 thousand to aid victims of crime.
It comes as Minister for Justice Helen McEntee announces a new fund worth €7.7 million.
The money is being designated to up to 70 organisations around the country to support individuals who have been subject to criminal offences.
The funding comes as part of Minister for Justice Helen McEntee's aim to build a victim-centred criminal justice system.
