A major extension has been announced for Carrick-on-Shannon's Community School.
There will be eight new general classes and the refurbishment of the music room to provide a general classroom, 2 SET rooms, 2 science labs, 1 science prep area, 1 art room & 1 home economics room.
The announcement was made under the additional school accommodation scheme.
