A major cycling event is taking place in Co. Longford today.
The first ever Tour of Longford is starting at the Connolly Barracks at 10am.
Up to 100 cyclists are set to take part with the cycle covering large parts of North Longford.
Chairperson of the Heartland Wheelers Cycling Club Gerry Doyle is encouraging people to support the event:
