'Major breakthrough' in Liam Farrell case as minister deems death 'suspicious'
Liam Farrell was 87 when he died in January 2020

The 87-year-old was found dead outside his house in Rooskey in January 2020, with his body bruised and bloodied. 

Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan has told the family of Leitrim man Liam Farrell his death is 'suspicious', in what's seen as a major breakthrough in the case.

The 87-year-old was found dead outside his house in Rooskey in January 2020, with his body bruised and bloodied.

Minister O'Callaghan met the Farrell family in the Department of Justice this evening, as they continue to campaign for justice.
