Loughglynn Ambulance base in West Roscommon is to become operational on a 24/7 basis.
A report from the National Ambulance Service has shown that between January 2019 and October 2020, the base had dealt with a total of 4,259 calls.
The report was prepared for the Director of the National Ambulance Service who has had several meetings with Roscommon Galway Sinn Fein TD Claire Kerrane on the matter.

Deputy Kerrane says it's a great development for people in the West Roscommon area and beyond and she will continue to push this issue until today's commitment becomes a reality.
