Longford Town will face Shelbourne in the SSE Airticity Premier Division promotion/relegation play-off final.

Shelbourne lost 2-0 to champions Shamrock Rovers on Monday night with Finn Harps beating Waterford 1-0 meaning Shels finish in ninth place in the premier division.

Town made the play-off final after a 2-1 win over Galway United last Friday night in the UCD bowl.

The date, kick-off time and venue of the play-off final is to be confirmed.
