Longford & Roscommon two poorest counties in terms of disposable income

Nationally, Dublin is at the top of the list with an average disposable income per person of over €33,000 per person with Limerick and Cork making up the top three.

Longford and Roscommon are the poorest counties in Ireland in terms of disposable income. That's according to new statistics released by the CSO today. The county with the lowest disposable income per capita was Longford with an average of €23,725 per person. Longford is directly followed by Roscommon on the list with an average disposable income of €24,685 per person.

Leitrim was fourth from bottom according to the new findings from the CSO, with an average disposable income of €24,960 per person. Nationally, Dublin is at the top of the list with an average disposable income per person of over €33,000 per person with Limerick and Cork making up the top three.
