A well known Family of Longford Publicans are making headlines this week following their purchase of a popular Dublin Pub.
The Mahon family from Newtownforbes recently purchased the famous JW Sweetman pub on Burgh Quay.
Once owned by Businessman Sean Quinn, the popular bar was sold for €5.5 million euro according to website 'The Currency'.

The Mahon family shot to prominence in the US with the operation of the successful Pig n Whistle chain of bars in New York.
It's understood the local family bet MMA fighter Conor McGregor to the post with the sale following his attempts to add the property to his portfolio.
Mahon brothers Robert and John Jnr also own other hospitality businesses at home in Ireland.
