A Longford project has been announced as runners up in this year's digital town awards.
The Maria Edgeworth Centre in Edgeworthstown took home second place in the digital tourism category.
It was recognised for the development of a new website and social media account as well as the installation of digital blackboards at the museum.

The national awards ceremony took place in The Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone today and the Longford project took home a prize fund of 4,000 euro.
