A Longford pharmacist says he believes the message about vaccines being the safest option in this pandemic has been effectively communicated to the vast majority of the population.
Padraig Loughrey was speaking in the wake of some anti-vaccine protestors who were around the council offices and the Albert Reynolds Peace Park on Saturday afternoon.
He says while people were hesitant about getting vaccinated when they first became available, the take-up since has shown that the messages from the health experts have helped people make their decisions.
