Plans have been approved for a large community health facility in Longford town.
The application was lodged by Kendrick Properties last year.
The application proposed the construction of a three-storey community health facility at the former Longford Creamery site on the Connaught Road.
It would have 47 car-parking spaces, as well as five electric vehicle charging bays.
The application would also see the development of a new vehicular access link road from the Connaught Road northward towards Little Water Street.
Also included is the relocation of existing ESB services on the site.
The application was approved by Longford county planners this week, subject to 11 conditions.
