Longford has the second lowest number of international protection applicants, also known as asylum-seekers, in the country.
There are 143 in the county, according to the Department of Migration.
Only Cavan has fewer, at 133, while there are 220 in Leitrim and 175 in Roscommon.
Just under 33,000 international protection applicants are living in 318 accommodation centres in Ireland - with the most common nationalities being Nigerian, Somalian and Pakistani.
