An initiative is to be launched by Longford Gardaí tackling the improper use of E-Scooters and bikes on pathways across the town.
According to local Gardaí, they've received numerous complaints of people cycling or using scooters dangerously on footpaths in the town.
Concerns have been raised over the danger this poses to children or the elderly should they be struck.

Sgt Darren Conlon, who's behind the initiative, says the devices will be seized by Gardaí if necessary:
