Longford Cystic Fibrosis campaigner Jillian McNulty says the actions of students in Galway who gathered at events on Monday night were totally selfish.
The Longford woman says she's spent large parts of her life having to stay away from other people just to be safe, and the scenes of students in the western city this week were upsetting to watch.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning Jillian says many people, not just students, are not taking the situation seriously enough.

She says after having successfully battled her condition for the last 44 years, she doesn't want to succumb to Covid just because people are behaving selfishly:
