Longford CF campaigner criticises speed of Covid restrictions lift

Longford CF campaigner Jillian McNulty is sharply critical of the government's decision to scrap social distancing and the Covid certs as part of the lifting of Covid restrictions in recent days.

 

The Longford woman who has Cystic Fibrosis, and who has been on a kidney transplant list for the past couple of years, says vulnerable people are being left with no protection.

Speaking on the Let's Talk show today, Jillian says social distancing and the Covid cert regulations had given some measure of comfort to her and others during the past two years.

She says she can see no good reason why these measures couldn't be kept until the situation improves much more.
