A well known Longford businessman says he's hopeful no Shannonside branches close down if PTSB is sold. The country's third biggest bank is going on the market - but customers will be unaffected.
The partly state-owned bank has branches in Longford town and Roscommon town. Longford councillor and businessman, Seamus Butler, says today's news isn't bad news:
