Councillors in Roscommon are expected to hear how all of the county is adequately served by its current fire services.
A report on emergency response to fires in the county is to be brought before members at this afternoon's monthly meeting of the local authority.
It's been three and a half years since the fire station in Castlerea closed, due to staffing issues and there have been concerns raised that it may be closed on a permanent basis.
