Local TD Micheál Carrigy has announced he is stepping back from his convenience store in Ballinalee after nearly two decades.
The Fine Gael politician made the announcement on social media, saying he was handing over the running of Carrigy's DayTodayNews to new management.
The Ballinalee man opened the shop in 2007 and is also a postmaster in the village.
He says he will continue his work in the post office, which was established by his late mother in 1972.
