New traffic lights at a problem junction in Frenchpark will ensure road users are much safer. Sinn Féin TD Claire Kerrane believes any concerns over delays caused by the lights pale in comparison to the positive effects of the development.
The safety works began at the junction in the village in March. The junction has been the scene of a number of accidents in recent years. Deputy Kerrane says safety was the main priority when installing the new lights:
