A Roscommon-Galway TD says the Irish hospital system is 'lagging behind' when it comes to digital health records.
Fianna Fáil's Martin Daly was speaking at the first meeting of the new Oireachtas health committee this week.
Longford-Westmeath TD Sorca Clarke, from Sinn Fein, is also a member of the committee.
She said mental health and women's health are priorities for her, while Deputy Daly said the digitisation of our health service is vital:
