A local TD has revealed the government plans to increase investment in apprenticeships.
Sligo-Leitrim TD Marian Harkin said that the current funding for apprenticeships has more than doubled since Budget 2020.
On traineeships, she notes that SOLAS funds ETBs based on local demand, supporting over 75 traineeship programmes nationwide across many sectors.
