A local TD has raised childcare issues in Boyle with the Taoiseach.
Sinn Féin TD Claire Kerrane was one of a number of local politicians who attended a public meeting last week which discussed the lack of childcare in the town.
It was revealed at the meeting that 77% of children aged under 4 are currently unable to access childcare services.
Deputy Kerrane raised the issue with the Taoiseach in the Dáil earlier today:
