A local TD has hit back at claims the Budget doesn't do enough to address mental health services. Fianna Fáil's Martin Daly was responding to comments made by a Longford-Westmeath Sinn Féin TD this week. Sorca Clarke, who's her party's spokesperson for mental health, accused the Government of engaging in a 'box ticking exercise'.
She says the mental health budget will not address gaping inadequacies in mental health services. Roscommon-Galway TD and local GP Martin Daly says the investment is there:
