A local Sinn Féin TD has claimed the Consultant Psychiatrist role at the E-Mental Health Hub in Castlerea is not being filled due to the current recruitment embargo in the HSE. Roscommon-Galway TD Claire Kerrane says the issue was raised at a meeting with the Manager of Mental Health Services in the county.
The role has been vacant since the service was opened in 2020. Deputy Kerrane says the news is very concerning:
