A Roscommon TD has told the Taoiseach the ongoing dispute in the National Ambulance Service needs to be urgently resolved.
Speaking in the Dáil yesterday, Sinn Féin TD Claire Kerrane said the government should be 'extremely concerned' by the situation within the sector.
Unions representing more than two thousand ambulance workers, paramedics and EMTs will meet with HSE officials in the Labour Court again today, after renewed negotiations began on Monday.
They're looking for updated salary scales to reflect upskilling in the organisation.
Paramedics and EMTs are protesting across the country, including at ambulance stations in Roscommon, Boyle, and Loughglynn.
