A local TD believes a long term approach is needed to address childcare issues in Boyle. The Boyle Community Childcare Committee held a public meeting this morning to highlight the lack of childcare services in the town.
There is currently only one full time childcare facility in Boyle which is at full capacity. Independent Ireland TD Michael Fitzmaurice outlined the approach he believes should be taken:
