A local Supervalu was crowned store of the year at last nights National Supervalu awards.
Cosgrove/McGuiness Supervalu in Strokestown, County Roscommon won the prestigious accolade at the ceremony held in Killarney.
Bought by the McGuiness's in 2018, the shop was changed from Centra to Supervalu in 2020.

There are over 200 Supervalu locations nationwide with 20 put forward to the finals of the awards.
Each location is examined by an adjudicator, with staff, services and stores examined with five finalists and a winner picked during the process.
