The entire Shannonside region remains under a status yellow weather alert this morning as the cold spell continues.
A snow-ice warning is in place for Leitrim until 9am with Met Eireann warning of potential hazardous travel conditions.
Roscommon and Longford are also under a Low Temperature/Ice warning until 9am.
