A local pro-Palestine group is hosting a gathering to mark International Day of Solidarity with the people of Palestine.
The event is being organised by the Roscommon Palestine Solidarity Group.
It takes place at three o'clock this afternoon in the Square in Roscommon town.
Chairperson of the group, Alice Wright, said the world has become complacent when it comes to the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
She says the group is organising events this weekend to raise awareness:
