A local pharmacy will be holding a special event in honour of Women's Day.
Garvey's Pharmacy in Glenamaddy has a range of activities lined up to celebrate the international holiday and to encourage women to take care of their health.
The event is free of charge and will include talks from Galway LGFA captain Kate Geraghty, as well as nutrition and oral health workshops.
A number of activities will be taking place today from midday and end with a sound bath therapy session at 4:30pm.
