Over €40,000 has been earmarked for men's sheds across the Shannonside region.
A total of 19 sheds will benefit from the funding.
The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Dara Calleary, has announced a total of €1 million for men's sheds across the country.
The funding allows the Irish Men's Sheds Association to distribute supports to their members, with grants of up to €3,000 available.
Co Longford has received the highest amount in the Shannonside region, with over €17,600 earmarked for eight sheds.
Drumlish, Granard, Killoe, Longford, North Longford and Mostrim men's sheds are set to benefit from the allocation.
A total of €9,000 has been awarded to men's sheds in counties Leitrim and Roscommon respectively.
In Roscommon, men's sheds in Ballaghaderreen, Ballyleague, Castlerea, Cloonfad and Granlahan were successful applicants.
While in Co Leitrim, three sheds in Aughavas, Ballinamore, and Carrick-on-Shannon will benefit from the funding, as well as three other sheds in North Leitrim.
Nationally, 369 men's sheds are to receive funding from the department.
