House prices in the Shannonside region have seen a strong surge in the last 12 months.
That's according to the latest national survey from the Real Estate Alliance which looks at the average second-hand three-bed semi.
County Leitrim's prices rose to €225,000, up 13.9 per cent.
A 13.3 per cent increase is reported in county Longford with prices now standing at €221,000
While county Roscommon's have increased by 6.9 per cent to €270,000.
