Local house prices continue to rise

Prices nationally rose by an average of 0.8% during the third quarter of 2025

House prices continue to rise across the Shannonside region.

Prices nationally rose by an average of 0.8% during the third quarter of 2025, according to the latest Daft.ie House Price Report.

According to the report, the average price of a three-bed semi-detached house in Roscommon now stands at €238,000.

That's a 19.4% increase when compared to the same time last year.

Leitrim also saw a significant increase in the past year with the average price of a three-bed semi-detached house now standing at €246,000, up 18.8%.

Meanwhile, in Co. Longford there was a small increase of 4% with the average price set at just below €200,000.

Nationally, the average price of a three-bed semi-detached home in the third quarter was just over €421,000.
