Local Gardaí charged 15 suspected drug dealers over the course of 3 months this year.
CSO figures from the Quarter 3 Recorded Crime report show Gardaí in Longford, Roscommon and Leitrim arrested and charged the individuals with the illegal possession of drugs with intent of sale or supply.
The Sligo Leitrim Garda Division saw 9 such charges brought between June and September of this year.

While Longford and Roscommon Gardaí charged 6 individuals for alleged drug dealing in the same timeframe.
Meanwhile, two people in the Sligo Leitrim area were detained for the cultivation of illegal drugs, while 70 people faced charges of possession for personal use across the two Garda Divisions earlier this year.
