A local GAA club has lodged planning permission for a major new development. Carrigallen GAA club in County Leitrim are looking to develop a multipurpose building to facilitate indoor training, an extension of the training field with perimeter fencing and the upgrade and extension of the walking track to perimeter of the main pitch.
The proposed development also includes a detached modular coffee shop, to redesign the entrance to the clubhouse, a new score board to the main pitch and electronic display messaging board towards road side and to construct parking layout and outdoor gym area. Leitrim County Planners are due to decide on the application in July.
