There were major tailbacks in Carrick-on-Shannon yesterday.

A local fuel protester says the demonstrations will end if carbon tax on petrol and diesel is scrapped.
There were major tailbacks in Carrick-on-Shannon yesterday.

 

Several tractors circled around the town all day, to highlight their anger at the fuel crisis.
John Boyd, from Carrick, drove one of the tractors and told our reporter Eoghan Murphy why:
