The Sunday Independent is reporting proposals to liberalise housing policies across the country are set to go before Cabinet next month.

The Sunday Independent is reporting proposals to liberalise housing policies across the country are set to go before Cabinet next month.

The proposals would see local authorities being told to ease planning rules for one-off homes in ribbon developments along main roads.
The plans would also allow people to build new dwellings at the back of existing houses.
Roscommon councillor Laurence Fallon says easing planning laws would be a win-win for all:
