A local Councillor says the water network in South Leitrim needs to be upgraded after another significant burst near Ballinamore. Uisce Éireann says it's working to restore supply after the burst between Ballinamore and Ardrum.
The semi-state company says most customers will have water back this afternoon - but those on higher ground may have to wait longer. Fianna Fáil Councillor Paddy O'Rourke says the amount of bursts occurring in the area is unacceptable:
