A local councillor has highlighted dumping problems which has been occurring in County Leitrim. Cllr Thomas Mulligan raised the issue at this mornings Carrick on Shannon Municipal District meeting.
He said a substantial amount of furniture and waste had been dumped in the townland of Cornee near Mohill. Speaking to Shannonside FM News following the meeting, Cllr Mulligan described some of the dumping which has been occurring in the area recently:
