Local communities celebrated at 2025 IPB Pride of Place Awards

The ceremony took place in Limerick last night, celebrating community projects from across the island of Ireland.

Several local communities have been honoured at this year’s IPB Pride of Place Awards.

The ceremony took place in Limerick last night, celebrating community projects from across the island of Ireland.

The Abbey Housing Estate in Cloontuskert, County Roscommon, won the Urban Neighbourhoods and Housing Estates category.

There was also success for Roscommon Women’s Network who received the Judge’s Special Award.

Edgeworthstown Enterprise Hub CLG in County Longford took home the Creative Communities award.

Finally, Tubbercurry Town Team in County Sligo claimed the top spot in the Population 2,000 to 5,000 category.

Now in its 23rd year, the awards celebrate the selfless efforts of people who make their communities better places to live, work, and socialise.
