Mental health charities are propping up a failed Irish healthcare system. That's according to Sinn Féin Councillor Leah Cull, who has slammed the lack of Government supports.
Leah is also a member of the Northwest STOP committee, a community based counselling service. Recent figures released by the charity show that a third of referrals last month came from the Shannonside region. The Roscommon councillor says some of the statistics are quite worrying:
