A Leitrim councillor is calling for Carrick-on-Shannon train station to be upgraded as soon as possible.
Paddy Farrell says there are plans for other stations to be developed - but there is no mention of Carrick.
He says parking and toilet facilities are inadequate.

He's asking Leitrim County Council to contact Iarnród Éireann over the issue.
