A local Minister has called on Westmeath County Council to priortise workers when allocating social housing.
Longford-Westmeath TD and Minister of State Robert Troy believes a message must be sent out that it pays to work at a time of full employment.
The call was included in a submission made by the local Minister to Westmeath County Council recently.
