Counties in the Shannonside region saw some of the largest number of pub closures over the last decade.
New figures published by the Vintners' Federation of Ireland have shown that Roscommon was fourth at 32.3 per cent nationally in terms of closures between 2005 and 2024.
While, Longford was seventh at 30.1 per cent.
